Growth Characteristics: Scarlet Globemallow is an erect, perennial forb with gray-green, deeply lobed leaves and bright orange to pink flowers growing to 2.5 feet tall.

Range: Scarlet Globemallow grows throughout much of the west-central United States from Canada down to Mexico, excluding the west coast, at elevations of 3,500 to 9,000 feet.  It prefers open areas such as dry prairies.
