Silky Lupine in the field

Growth Characteristics: Silky Lupine is an erect, perennial forb with purple or blue flowers that bloom in the summer.

Range: Silky Lupine grows in the western United States and Canada from the plains up to 10,000 feet.  It prefers drier, rocky sites.
