Utah Sweetvetch flowers

Growth Characteristics: A member of the Pea family, Utah Sweetvetch is a perennial forb with an erect growth to 2 feet with gray leaves and pink to purple flowers.

Range: Utah Sweetvetch grows in western North America from Canada to Texas at elevations up to 9,500 feet.  It can be found in semi-desert to moist ecosystems including canyons and shrublands.
