Milk Vetch in bloom and seed maturation

Growth Characteristics: This Milk Vetch is a clumping forb with gray-green leaves and purplish pea-like flowers.  It begins its growth early in the spring. 

Range:  This Milk Vetch grows in desert gulches and along the Colorado River Valley in Colorado and Utah (Weber, 1996).
