The Nature Conservancy Fields

The Nature Conservancy owns 35 acres of irrigable land near Naturita, CO. They have partnered with the UP Project to bring these fields into production with the scheduled 2007 planting of Fourwing saltbush for seed production. In 2009, due to poor seed germination, the site was turned back over to TNC. The site will be monitored for fourwing saltbush emergence.
